Home Boarding/Dog Daycare

We will require a 50% deposit upon booking your home from home boarding and pet sitting to secure your booking.  We will not be able to guarantee your booking unless this is paid.

​

Final payment of you booking will be required to be paid 1 week before your stay.  If payment is not received, your booking is not secure and your deposit will be lost.

 

In season females cannot be accepted for boarding with other dogs.  We will NOT be able to accept an in season dog without a premium cost.

 

PAYMENTS

All daycare and walk services will be required to be paid BEFORE services commence.

​

LATE FEES – DOG DAYCARE

There will be a charge of £2.50 for every 15 minutes after 6.30pm

​​

CANCELLATION TERMS

• Between 1-7 days             full payment will be required

• 8-14 days                          50% of deposit

• 14+ days                           no charge - deposit returned

Walks and Dog Daycare

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

​​

Mutt Movers is authorised to seek emergency veterinary care with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expense.  Should specified veterinarian be unavailable, we are authorised to engage the services of an alternative veterinarian.  If you cannot be contacted in a timely manner, we are authorised to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian.

You agree to reimburse us for expenses incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to such emergency.  We are not liable for any problems that occur from a known condition unless we have not treated the condition as required.

GENERAL

​​

• All dogs, by law, must wear a collar and tag with your information as well as being microchipped.  All dogs must be fully up to date with their vaccinations and their flea and work treatment to come into our care.  If dogs show signs of flea or worm infestation they will not be walked.  These must be completed 2 weeks before care commences.  Titre testing will be an acceptable form of vaccination along with certificate and letter from vet.  Kennel cough is highly advised by us and the vets.

• Male dogs over the age of 9 months must be neutered.  Male un-neutered dogs under 9 months will be temperament tested and closely watched whilst in day care by trained staff members.  They will not be allowed to mount/mock, mate or show any boisterous or aggressive behaviour.  If they do, care will not be able to be continued and you will be informed immediately.

• Dogs will all be mixed together in groups of up to 6.  This will be a mix of different ages and genders.  All dogs will be made comfortable and not put in groups that will upset them.  You must inform us fully of any characteristics of your dog/s which needs to be known for handling and care of them, especially any aggression issues.

• Dogs will be kept on a lead whenever off premises, unless consent is received from you.

​​

• We will care, so far as is practicable, that your dog/s are not a nuisance or danger to anyone, or any other animals, and that no harm comes to it/them.

​​

• Your dog/s will be left for no longer than 3 hours across the day.

​​

• If dogs are not collected within 7 days of the stated departure date, and no communication has been received from you, then we will contact the RSPCA to classify the dog/s as abandoned for them to attempt to re-home, sell or send to a charitable animal organisation.

​​

• We will put collars and tags on you dog/s stating that they are under the care of Mutt Movers for safety reasons.

​​

• Photos/videos of your dog can be taken and used on social media, advertisements, website etc. 

​​

​Keys

​

If you provide us with a key, we will use this to collect your pet/s and for no other purpose.  We will keep you key safe, not let anyone not employed by us have it, not copy it and will return it to you on demand.

RELEASE OF LIABILITIES

​

• Mutt Movers agrees to provide all services in kind, humane, reliable and a trustworthy manner.  You agree to notify Mutt Movers of any concerns within 24 hours of our return.

​

• Mutt Movers reserves the right to refuse service to any customer, at any time, for any reason.

​

• Mutt Movers will contact you immediately if your pet/s display aggressive behaviours or tendencies.

​

• Mutt Movers will do what they can to help families with special needs pets.

​

• Mutt Movers is required to report any bite incidents to authorities.

​

• In case of any emergency, inclement weather or natural disaster you authorise Mutt Movers to use their reasonable judgment for the care and wellbeing of your pet/s and/or house.

​

• You understand that Mutt Movers can terminate this contract if your pet becomes a threat to the safety of health of Mutt Movers or the community due to aggressive behaviour.
